Steven Gretchko

Steven Gretchko is a Vice President and Financial Advisor with The K2 Group of Oxford Harriman & Company in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Steve is dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve their long-term financial goals. He works closely with clients to develop thoughtful, goal-based investment strategies, leveraging his extensive expertise to help them navigate market cycles and structure balanced portfolios tailored to their priorities.

As a member of the K2 Group at Oxford Harriman, Steve collaborates with a team that emphasizes precision, professionalism, and exceptional client service. He is widely recognized for his knowledge, reliability, and attention to detail, which allow him to deliver a consistently high standard of service to both clients and colleagues.

In addition to his advisory work, Steve partners with employers to design and manage retirement plans, helping ensure meaningful support for both business owners and employees.

Steve’s background includes experience in tax and estate planning strategies, as well as charitable and insurance-based planning. He began his career in the tax department of Coopers & Lybrand and has since held advisory roles with UBS, Morgan Stanley, and Wells Fargo Advisors before joining Oxford Harriman & Company.

In addition to holding securities and insurance licenses, Steve is both a CPA (non-practicing) and an attorney with advanced specialization in taxation. He earned his B.A. from Michigan State University, his J.D. from the MSU College of Law (formerly Detroit College of Law), and his LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University.

Steve resides in Birmingham, Michigan, with his wife of more than 30 years and is the proud father of two grown sons. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys fitness activities and supporting his wife’s professional endeavors.
