Mike Verda is a Managing Director and Partner of Oxford Harriman & Company in the Amherst, Ohio office.

Mike has been a Financial Advisor since 2002 and works with families, individuals, and institutions. He takes time to get to know his clients personally to better assist them meet their financial goals. Mike understands his clients have worked hard their entire lives to create wealth, and he helps develop specific strategies to preserve it for today and plan for future generations.

Prior to joining Oxford Harriman & Company, Mike spent his entire career at Edward Jones in Oberlin, Ohio where he started and managed his own office.

Mike takes a comprehensive approach to investment planning and examines every element of a client’s financial life, including asset allocation, debt management, cash reserves, insurance, estate investment planning and tax implications.

Mike attended Elyria Catholic High School and Lorain County Community College where he received his business degree. After graduation, Mike worked for Heisler Truck Sales in marketing and facility operations. 

Mike resides in Elyria, OH and enjoys spending time with his five adult children, three grandchildren, and many friends who he also considers his family. Mike enjoys watching sports, and especially enjoys supporting and being a part of his son’s sprint car racing team. 

When Mike is not working or spending time with his family, he is busy supporting and being actively involved with the Special Olympics of Elyria, being an active member of local clubs and organizations, and donating his time and money to local charities.
