Dennis J. Devane is a Managing Director & Partner for Oxford Harriman, as well a member of the practice’s investment committee.

Prior to joining Oxford Harriman & Company, Dennis was a Senior Vice President and a Senior Portfolio Manager within the Private Investment Management program (PIM) at Wells Fargo Advisors in Westport, Connecticut. While at Wells Fargo Advisors, Dennis was recognized as a Wells Fargo Advisors Platinum Council Advisor (formerly known as Premier Advisor) from 2019-2021.* Prior to Wells Fargo, Dennis cultivated his wealth management skills at UBS and Smith Barney. Dennis also held audit and consulting positions at Goldman Sachs and PriceWaterhouseCoopers post-graduation.

For over thirty years, Dennis has managed multi-generational wealth for private clients with a consultative, high-touch approach, applying sophisticated techniques from the early stages of investment accumulation through retirement and the transfer of wealth to the next generation. As a trusted advisor, Dennis works closely with clients to provide customized, integrated risk-based financial strategies. Dennis focuses on helping clients preserve and grow their wealth, striving to ensure they achieve their long-term financial and investment goals.

Dennis graduated from Adelphi University where he received his bachelor’s in accounting and his MBA in finance. Dennis also received his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor SM (CRPC) designation from the College for Financial Planning.

Dennis and his wife Marybeth have lived in Wilton, Connecticut for 28 years; they have three children who excelled academically and athletically at Wilton High School. Their daughter, Kaitlin, graduated from the University of Michigan- School of Engineering. Their sons, Connor, and Brendan played college lacrosse and graduated from Quinnipiac University (2016) and Roanoke College (2019), respectively. They are pursuing marketing careers.

Dennis is active in philanthropy and advocacy having been involved with Nourish Bridgeport, The Open Door Shelter, and The Building Hope Foundation. Dennis continues to be active in multiple alumni associations to include Michigan, Rutgers, Quinnipiac, Adelphi and Roanoke. Dennis is a lacrosse enthusiast and supports Rutgers lacrosse, US Lacrosse and TEAM USA.

In his spare time- Dennis enjoys staying active via aerobic weight training and refining his golf skills. Dennis has also completed two New York City marathons.
