Dennis Barba

Dennis understands that wealth management is more than just the wide range of financial services and solutions you can access through Oxford Harriman & Company; it is how those services and solutions are developed and delivered in order to help you pursue your goals.

That’s why he helps to oversee a customized approach to wealth management, built on a personal relationship and shaped by an understanding of your needs and aspirations.

Dennis has gained broad-based experience during his 30-plus year career. Prior to founding Oxford Harriman & Company, Dennis was a Senior Vice President with both UBS and Raymond James.

In addition to his financial career, Dennis is the author of four books and has served as an adjunct professor at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, as well as a guest lecturer at Miami University and The Columbia Graduate School of Business.

He has also overseen educational programs at financial institutions nationwide and has been quoted in numerous financial publications.

Dennis received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Miami University in Oxford, OH. He is an alumnus of the Columbia Graduate school of business as well as has an M.B.A. and a Ph.D. in business administration from California Coast University. He holds Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 securities registrations.

Dennis has given back to the community through his passion for youth basketball. Dennis has coached top-ranked AAU basketball teams as well as those at the high school level. He has also served as a shooting instructor at one the nation’s top basketball camps.

He and his wife, Monica have been married for 32 years and reside in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Dennis and Monica have three sons – Andy who plays basketball at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, Owen who graduated from Cleveland State University and is a working musician, and Peter who played basketball at Columbia University in New York, and is the founder and CEO of a tech company in the electric vehicle space
